NAPLES
THE FLEGREI FIELDS
From the Greek phlegraios, ardent, the Phlegraean Fields hide in their name their volcanic nature, a land of 40 volcanoes which includes some municipalities in the province of Naples including Pozzuoli, Quarto, Bacoli and Monte di Procida and, for their geological and volcanological characteristics , also the islands of Procida and Ischia. The tour dei Campi Flegrei is perfect for those who want to combine art, history, nature and adventure. In these suggestive and fascinating places, chosen by the Greeks and then by the Romans, you will be able to meet the divinities of the past; Hades, Apollo, Vulcan, Proserpina, Serapis, but also the Cumaean Sibyl, Aeneas, Daedalus, Virgil and Homer. The intertwining of history, myths and legends, the archaeological remains in the open, underground and submerged, the observation of the phenomenon of bradyseism, the volcanic nature of the places where fragments of ancient volcanoes are still visible, the natural landscapes covered with Mediterranean scrub , make the Campi Flegrei a unique and suggestive place, in which the senses, the sight, the smells, the sounds, the flavors can be pleasantly satisfied.
THE ISLANDS
From the mountains to the sea: all in one holiday! Ischia, Capri and Procida are famous all over the world for their beauty and now it's time to really get to know them: walking you will understand what their double soul is, discovering maritime and peasant islands together. Different but unique colors, traditions, aromas and flavors, which you will also find at the table, including spaghetti with sea urchins and crazy water fish or a plate of “salade cafona”. Good food, therefore, but also many walks in company, to discover inlets, beaches and marinas, the remains of ancient exploded craters and cinema atmospheres in Corricella, where the film "Il Postino" of the unforgettable Troisi was filmed. And at the end of the day you cannot miss a well-deserved relaxation in the thermal pools
Sorrento Peninsula
It offers one of the most evocative views of Campania and is not by chance called "The Land of the Sirens". The Sorrentine Peninsula, despite the often intrusive building speculations, is still a corner of paradise with flourishing vegetation that plunges into the turquoise sea. The Amalfi Coast boasts of having been included among the Italian Unesco World Heritage sites.
AMALFI COAST
The Amalfi Coast is probably the most beautiful coast in Italy. Located in the southern part of the Sorrento Peninsula, the Amalfi Coast is protected from all the cold winds of the north thanks to its imposing mountains, and can enjoy a wonderful climate all year round, so the tour is an invitation to walk in these places as early as early spring and into late autumn.
The panorama is extremely varied and surrounded by constantly evolving scenarios. It can be typically Mediterranean, and inebriate you with its scents of wild herbs, shrubs of myrtle, thyme, rosemary and mastic, until it becomes almost alpine with its expanses of meadows that alternate with bare rock.
And it has an invaluable cultural heritage! Man has created an incomparable landscape of terraced mosaics. All around you will find beautiful small churches, ruins of castles, old farmhouses and terraces of all kinds. The Amalfi Coast is certainly the most incredible coastal stretch in Europe! And the beauty is that all this heritage can only be discovered on foot!
POMPEII
Pompeii, an Italian town in the province of Naples, in Campania, has ancient origins just like Rome: the gens Pompeia descended from the Osci, one of the first Italic peoples, but it was only in the seventh century BC that a primitive settlement was settled where the current city stands. An important crossing point between north and south, Pompeii soon became a much sought-after node by its neighbors and was conquered by the Greek Cumae and the Etruscans. Pompeii is famous for the great eruption of 79 AD: during the autumn of that year the city was the victim of a devastating activity of Vesuvius and was submerged by ash and lapilli that fell continuously to form a layer that covered the population and buildings. . The rain of this volcanic material crystallized the entire city, preserving it over time.
